It is one of the fastest ball sports in the world. 15 players try to hit and run with a small ball and seek to score more goals than their opponents. You hardly can see the ball, but the patrons are always enthralled, when the teams score by either batting the ball over the bar or directly in the goal, which even scores more.

Und wieder einmal im Croke Park! Während der Sommer Monate finden Sonntags immer Matches statt, und dieses mal stand Hurling auf dem Programm. Es ist eines der schnellsten Ballsport-Arten der Welt. 15 Spieler versuchen den Ball mit dem Hurling Schläger nach vorne zu dreschen und mehr Punkte als der Gegner zu erzielen. Man kann kaum den Ball sehen, aber die Zuschauer sind stets begeistert, wenn die Teams Punkte erzielen, entweder indem sie über den Querbalken zielen, oder direkt ins Tor, was mehr Punkte gibt.
